IPS and Antivirus protection at the same time?

Hi,

I have an ASA-5515X with onboard IPS. Is it possible to purchase a CSM module for Antivirus protection and have it running at the same time as the IPS?

If so should I be concerned about too much traffic interrogation causing potential latency?

The new generation ASAs (5500-X) don't support additional physical modules (IPS/CSM) , you can only add additional interfaces.

So cisco don't do AV protection on the new ASA 5500X series??? I find that hard to believe?

Agree with stojan,

If that is required you can go with the scansafe cloud possibility or WSA but there is no on-box module
