License key on IDSM-2

Hi,

I have IDSM-2 with 5.0 earlier I was using trail key recently I got the license key from Cisco. I updated the same with the proper procedure, still it is showing trail key. Please let me know any way we can go for permanent license key or the way it will show as trail key only. Please help me to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi assuming you had a Valid license provided by cisco then you only need:

Acces IDM https:// your sensor IP address

Confiuration_>Licensing->Select the location to retrieve the license from ( in your case it should be from file )

Browse to the specified file and click on Update license. This is all you need … do a show version to make sure ..

If you are still having problems then I suggest you open a TAC case.
