Licensing needed to go HA on fpr 2100 series ?

Already have a fpr2110 up and running, would like to add another to go HA (active/ standby or active/active).  What additional non-standard licensing is required?

Also, can my 2nd unit be a more powerful appliance, for example a fpr2120?

Thank you in advance.

Hi conrad@dwc-it.com

Q.

What are the license requirements for Firepower Threat Defense devices in a high-availability configuration?

A.

There is no specific license required to configure Firepower Threat Defense devices in a high-availability pair. However, each device should have a license for each feature your deployment will use.

No, the hardware model and software versions must be the same.
