I have been tasked with setting up a failover pair of LocalDirector 416s behind a failover pair of PIX 515Es. running ver 6.1(4)
Has anyone out there configured this or similar before? I'm thinking that the NAT should stay on the load balancers and that I should use NAT 0 with an access-list pertaining to the public addresses on the load balancers to traverse the firewall.
The servers sitting behind the the load balancers include a cluster of web servers. Their real addresses are bound to public virtual addresses on the balancer. This is what made me shy away from using statics.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
