There is a Lotus Notes Server behind a PIX firewall, while it send the mail with microsoft office attachemnt to the Lotus Notes Server outside the firewall, the mail will be lost~
But if i zip the file into .zip or .rar file and send it, there is no such error~
The two lotus notes communicate with each other use port 1352, anyone meet the same problem before?

If the 2 Lotus Notes server running MAIL servers i.e. on port 25 for email exchange, then try disabling payload inspection for SMTP as follows;
no fixup protocol smtp 25
Lotus Notes could be using ESMTP, hence not supported on PIX. It only supprt SMTP.

Thank you for your reply~
But the notes guys said that 2 notes servers just use port 1352 to communicate, for both control and data~
and we just configure the outside server to communicate the inside server with port 1352 but no any other ports~
so strange
