What is the difference between Cisco Prime Security Manager and Cisco FireSIGHT Management? and when to use Cisco Prime Security Manager and FireSIGHT Management?

PRSM is used for managing the ASA CX NGFW module (which is now end-of-sales).
FireSIGHT Management Center is used for managing FirePOWER-based devices (both modules in ASAs or dedicated appliances).

Hi Marvin,
What is the management recommendation for a large number of ASA-5500X with Firepower?
Definitely FireSight to manage the Firepower modules in the ASAs, but what is the recommended tool to manage the ASAs themselves?

If you want to manage a large set of ASAs with common objects, logging etc., the Cisco solution is Cisco Security Manager (CSM).
In the long term it will be merged with FireSIGHT Management Center but currently they are separate products.
