Hi,

Your best bet would be to collect these statistics via an snmp station located on the inside network. You can use an snmp management platform like CiscoWorks or MRTG to gather the stats. The following snmp mibs may be useful when collecting stats on the Cisco PIX : CISCO-FIREWALL-MIB, CISCO-MEMORY-POOL-MIB, CISCO-SMI, CISCO-SYSLOG-MIB and IF-MIB.

The mib files can be located at : ftp.cisco.com/pub/mibs/

Hope this was helpful.

Hi,

is it possible to upgrade to version 6.2?

The "capture" command provides packet sniffer funtionalities. The result of the sniffer session can be view with a webbrowser using https.

More info :

Using SNMP, you can monitor CPU usage, connections, translations, interface throughput, memory consumption and several other useful items. It's super easy to let MRTG graph this for you.

However, it won't tell you info relating to particular IP addresses. I recommend you look at the link below. It's take Pix logs and parses them into useful reports using source and destination IPs. And its free!!

It relies on the logs being created in Kiwi syslog format. (also free)
