Multi-context transaprent mode and syslog

Dear All,

Does anybody know if admin context, configured in routed mode but with transparent user contexts, with access to a dedicated physical management port can send syslog messages for other contexts as well?

The problem is I can't use inband syslog for user contexts, because my syslog server is available only via OOB network. I also can't share management physical port, connected to OOB network, between transparent user contexts.

Your help would be appreciated.

The question is a little confusing, but you need to configure syslog separately within each context.

Hope that helps.

Regards, mk

Can somebody from Cisco elaborate from transparent context is lacking shared management-only interface support? Many people have security requirements to use OOB network for syslog/tacacs protocols.
