Hey guys,
Just got new 5525-X's and want to upgrade them all the way forward.
Can I just pull the 5.3 off and put 6.0 (and then 6.0.0.1) on, the same way I can with the ASA code?

Hi Ken,
Yes, you can. Uninstall 5.3 & install 6.0. Find the steps in link mentioned below:
