Nortel Contivity 1000 and PIX 500 series Firewall

I need some insight onto how I can implement the following idea into a network: I want to set up a Contivity 1000 to create a VPN as shown in the diagram. The plan is to connect to another site and getting the Contivity to go either around the PIX or through it using a VPN. Would I need an intermediary device? Any design issue conflicts? Is there a more practical way to design this?

I have a vauge idea on how to go about accomplishing this. If anybody has any past experience or info on this I wouldy greatly appreciate any help on the matter.

These links will give you information on configuration :

This link describes a PIX-to-VPN client connection, illustrates the debug outputs pretty well.

Additionally, here is a link to the Nortel configuration site for it's different devices. This may help you in your configuration between the devices.
