Is it possible to have more than 5 simultaneous SSH-connections at the same time? Can this be changed?

Yes, it can be changed:

asa/sec/act(config)# quota management-session ?

configure mode commands/options:
<0-10000> Management session quota limit

Nice one Karsten! I wasn't aware of that command.

I see it was introduced in 9.1(2) and that the default is no session limit.

I had thought the ssh session limit used to be 5.

Hello - I know this is an old thread - but the doc referenced in the link is a bit confusing

I think the ssh limit is still 5 -

Sets the maximum SSH sessions, between 1 and 5. The default is 5.

I think the quota management-sessions command is for the aggregate of telnet, asdm, ssh and users combined.

Am i reading the documentation correctly?

Hi,

you are right , that setting is for an aggregate of sessions and is set to unlimited post version 9.1

However, the no. of concurrent ssh session are still limited to 5.

Did u get an option for it ?
