Packet capture using PIX 6.2

Hello,

Is there any way to capture more than 512k bytes in PIX at a given point of time.

Yes, you can set the buffer space used in the capture by using the 'buffer' option in the command - http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_sw/v_63/cmdref/c.htm#wp1053548

The default is 512K but this can be larger if needed. In addition, PIX 6.3 code allows you to create a circular-buffer which means that the capture takes a FIFO approach when the buffer is full. Hope this helps.
