pdm on pix ver 6.2 does not accept class C mask in nat command

I am trying to add an Access Rule to allow a subnet 10.0.2.0/24 to access outside network from my inside. The inside interface address is 10.0.2.1/16. When I try this thru PDM, it does not accept a class C mask in the rule (10.0.2.0/24), but only accepts 10.0.2.0/16. Or in other words, the NAT statement on the inside interface does not accept a subnet mask 24. Why is it so?

I think this should be a limitation in the PDm and not in the PIX itself, refer the following URL for the commands supported on the PIX when using PDm
