Is anyone aware of any issues with the accuracy of "sh cpu usage" ? I have a PIX-515E running 6.3(3) and CPU utilization always shows zero. I tried running debugs to try and get the numbers up, but no luck. I don't think the info returned is accurate.
Any ideas?

Hello!
That sounds about right and is exactly what I am getting when using the PIX only for NAT/PAT. Try to challange your PIX a little bit by using 3DES. When I am using 3DES (2MBit/s) mine goes up to 1% - 2%.

Have you launched PDM to see what PDM shows as the CPU utlization? PDM 3.0(2) has a very nice default page when you web into the pix that shows CPU utlization there. The 0% does seem quite odd.
thanks
