I have Windows 7, 64-bit Enterprise running and need a solution to VPN in to my home pix 501 and some customers PIX 506. They are running the 6.3.5 code.

I could make a VM but would like to have a solution for my primary OS.

Unfortunately Cisco doesn't have a solution for you. They are pushing SSL VPN, and AnyConnect which is only supported by 7.2+ code.

But there is a 3rd party VPN software that I've had some customer use and it worked ok. NCP Security Client.

we are using Shrew Soft VPn client with limited success. Some of us have had no problems, and some have had nothing but problems. I just configured webvpn for Anyconnect client on the ASA and it seems great. Check out the Anyconnect Essentials license, as it is cheap if you don't need clientless SSL or secure desktop functionality.

Thanks for the input. I will take a look at them.
