PIX xlate timeout

Does anyone know if there is a way to associate different xlate timeout values with different global pools if I'm doing policy NAT?

So, if I NAT to one destination I can set the xlate timeout value to 4 hours and if I NAT to a second destination I can set the xlate timeout to 7 hours?

Hello Jeff,

I really dont think you can do this !!! timeout xlate is a global command which applies to all the NAT translation entries.. you cannot set this parameter with a source IP address...

however you could user conn timeout under class-map/policy-map to achieve what you are aiming at.

Looks like this isn't going to work for me as I'm using a PIX535 running 6.3.4 and the policy map/class map commands looks like they were introduced on the FWSM 3.1 code.
