we are about to buy some cisco products which needs your consultation on some features.
the products are as follows:
1) C9800-L-F-K9 *1
LIC-C9800L-PERF


2) C9200-48P-E *1
C9200L-DNA-E-48-5Y


3) C9120AXI-H *32

QUESTIONS:
1- the first item(C9800-L-F-K9), is it mandatory to be bought with License?
or can we buy it without  PERF license?

2- for applying the access points (C9120AXI-H *32) should we buy license?
Is we should buy license, should these licenses be employed on the access points(C9120AXI-H *32) or the controller(C9800-L-F-K9)? and what is the part number of this license?


3- about the second item (C9200-48P-E *1), is it mandatory to buy the license(C9200L-DNA-E-48-5Y) with it?

1 - 9800-L - you need for basic 250 AP License if you do not need a performance License.

2. if the AP connecting to the above, that should cover for License, but you need smartnet contract if any replacement required.

3. are you deploying DNA (SD-Access deployment  ?)  you need an Essential License for the Device to work for basic Layer 2 and limited Laye3 feature.
