Hi,
Is there any clear documentation and steps for downgrading the Cisco ASA 5506-X FirePower firmware from 6.0 back to 5.4.
The 6.0 code is very unreliable and buggy. Not ready for production networks.
Any help would be great.
Thank you!

There is no process to downgrade inline. The Linux OS, database schema and many other things are modified during the upgrade process.
You would need to uninstall the module and re-install with 5.4 boot and system images.

So, I would need to do a system recovery. Thanks for the reply.

Hi all,
So I've upgraded to the FTD image on my 5506-X, but now prompting me for Cisco smart licensing. So looking to downgrade it back to ASA. Does anyone give me any direction on how I can roll back?
Kind Regards
