" Configure the NME IPS to capture traffic for IPS"

Dear All,

I configured and installed NME-IPS-K9 with Cisco Router 2811 series, I am seem not clear How to configure NME IPS to capture traffice for intrusion

prevention. I have three questions:

          1. what happens or effects if conigure NME IPS with below command without access-list?

               R1(config)#interface fastEthernet 0/1

               R1(config-if)#ids-service-module monitoring inline

          2. what happens or effects if configure NME IPS with access-list?

               R1(config)#interface fastEthernet 0/1

               R1(config-if)#ids-service-module monitoring inline access-list 101 (access-list 101 permit tcp any eq www any )

          3. How to confgiure NME IPS to capture traffic from specific host?
