Hi,

Do we have migration tool for re-image FPR from FTD to ASA?

Is there any issue with supported OS?

what are the prerequisite?

@KayaaKashyap You could probably use CDO https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/defense-orchestrator/datasheet-c78-736847.html the FMT only works from ASA to FTD, not from FTD to ASA.

Here is the reimage guide - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/reimage/asa-ftd-reimage.html

No issue with running either ASA or FTD software on the FPR hardware, make sure you install the latest recommended version - 9.20.3 https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323330/type/280775065/release/9.20.3%20Interim

@KayaaKashyap yes, FMT = Firepower Migration Tool.

De-register the FTD from the FMC, then re-image the FPR hardware (using the guide above) and configure the ASA from scratch.

Thanks for quick help.

FMT is Firepower migration tool?

So in this case we need to remove all config from FTD and re-configure on ASA?

is my understanding correct?

Additionally, we are managing Firepower devices via FMC. Can we take backup from FMC and configure on ASA?
