Secondary ASA not accessible while failover interface has been failed.

Hi ,

I have seen an issue on our environment, ASA 5525 pair, configured in active/active failover, fail over interface (g0/7) shows failed, while secondary asa is not accessible via management and other active context on secondary unit also not accessible and also doesn't give any ping response.

After changing the cable  between them results same, then we have changed the failover interface (g0/6) and it works. So on first look it seems issue with failover interface of secondary unit has some issue. But i have not any logs or error on interfaces which indicates it.

Can someone share his views on it? and one thing also want to know, is it default behavior if fail over link is failed, secondary Asa and any of context on it is not accessible, whether context is active ?
