SNMP walk does not work on the standby ASA firewalls

Hello Everyone,

I have a pair of active/standby ASA firewalls running 8.0(3).

The active firewall responds to the SNMP walk requests, but the standby firewall does not. I'm using SNMP v2. The configuration of primary and secondary firewall is replica of each other, apart from the ip addresses.

I want the secondary firewall to responds to SNMP walk requests coming in from the monitoring server. Can someone please help ?

Hi Adrian,

Sorry to inform but you are running a very old release 8.0(3) and was EoL way back in 2012. Currently we are in 9.5.x and request you to move to 9.1 and higher release.
