I have an ASA 5505 with status light solid amber color. It is under SmartNet.
I'd like to know Cisco will replaced this device with new ASA5505 or upgrade one?

Which particular light on the ASA 5505 is showing solid amber colour?
Is the ASA actually functioning, or it's not working at all?
You would need to open a Cisco TAC case, and Cisco TAC engineer will troubleshoot further to see if it's a hardware error. If it is a hardware error, then an RMA will be raised and the hardware will be replaced.

I had the same isse. I changed DRAM (256 to 1GB) and it fixed the problem. Since your device is still under SmartNet. go through the proper channel.
