SSM Module, Cisco IPS Manager, IPS version 6.1(1)E2

When in the IPS manager and I try to make a change to the pilices I get the following error.

Failed to retrieve configuration information from sensor

Any idea as to what is causing this error.

Dan -

If your "IPS manager" is CSM, you should verify you have connectivity between the server and sensor and your CSM is an allowed host on the sensor (one day our CSM decided to clear many of our sensor's allowed host list, how fun).

You can reimport your sensor in CSM, or I've cleared many troubling problems by just deleteing the sensor in CSM and adding it as new.

Deleting them and re adding them seemed to work.
