Hi,

I have configured ASA with three interface

Inside - 192.x.x.x

Outside - 203.x.x.x

DMZ - 172.x.x.x

one of the DMZ ip is static nated to Public IP

i.e static (dmz,outside) 203.x.x.5 172.x.x.2 netmask 255.255.255.255

My requirement is i shoud be able to ping/access Natted public IP 203.x.x.5 from inside instead of private IP 172.x.x.2

Can any one suggest solution for this.

Regards,

Sri

static (dmz,inside) 203.x.x.5 172.x.x.2 netmask 255.255.255.255

That's all you need.

This worked out, thanks but now I am not able to access the server using praivate IP i.e. 172.x.x.2 from inside (from192.x.x.x)

my requirement is to access server in both ways, as some of the users require to access by public IP and remaining all users will access server using praivate IP

not possible
