Ok, but Cisco is still manufacturing more units, hasn't it eliminated NGIPS from its production? Thanks

Cisco does not currently use the term NGIPS. That had been the term used for its older appliances (e.g.. 3D7100 series) that came over with the Sourcefire acquisition back in 2013.

The 4100 series is still actively sold (41x5 models), but they are encouraging customers to focus purchases instead on the 3100 and 4200 series in this range as they offer better price-performance based on their newer internal hardware and architecture
