Threat Defense 3100 Deployment with a Remote Management Center

Hello,

I have a task to deploy 3105 FTD in HA remotely using FMC. According to the cisco installation guide (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/secure-firewall/getting-started/3100/secure-firewall-3100-gsg/fmc-remote.html), it says we can't use data interface (outside) as management if the FTD is in HA. We have to use Management Interface.

But problem is I do not have dual internet connection at my remote site,  so how will I configure Management interface.

Can someone please help me.

Thanks a lot.

The "Getting Started Guide" has not been updated; but version 7.4 added support for managing HA pairs via the data interface.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/secure-firewall/release-notes/threat-defense/740/threat-defense-release-notes-74.html

High Availability/Scalability

Manage threat defense high availability pairs using a data interface.

7.4.0

7.4.0

Threat defense high availability now supports using a regular data interface for communication with the management center. Previously, only standalone devices supported this feature.
