To Upgrade ASA 9.2(2)4 to Latest (9.6/9.7)

Hello All,

Currently, i am running ASA 5525 with 9.2(2)4 version, Now i want to upgrade it to the latest one. Anyone can you help me which one be better for the 5525-x compatibility.

9.6.3 is the latest suggested release by Cisco based on software quality, stability and longevity.

Can you tell me how to upgrade to 9.6.3 from 9.2(2)4 and it will affect my running configuration ??

No, it will not affect running configuration. You have to login to cisco.com and download  9.6.3 version. 

You can upgrade the software using both ASDM or CLI. Follow the following link for further steps.
