i have a ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9 working with 3 VLAN and 3 VPN site to site connections.
After 6 to 14 hours working without any problem this device crashes totaly.
it means ... at first ssh, snmp and asdm goes down then it stops responding to ping and only a power-off can reactivate it. there is no entry in log around this time, no message sent to a syslog-server or to console.
i replaced this device but the new one has same problem. so it seems to be crashed by a network event. also changing ios from 7.2 to 8.0 does not realy change this. 7.2 is more stable then 8.0. on a 8.0 vesion ist crashes in about the half.
my monitoring tool is dude v3.0rc3. Maybe it creates this.
has anybody seen some like this? or is there a known solution?
