troubleshooting site to site vpns

is there a way to troubleshoot slowliness while transfering files between 2 pcs through a site to site cisco asa vpn ?

what commands or methodology should we use to see what could be causing the problem .

Hi

Trying dropping the MTU on the interface

Router>enable

Router#configure terminal

Router(config)#interface ethernet0/1

Router(config-if)#ip tcp adjust-mss 1400

Router(config-if)#end

If that doesn't work, go a bit lower.
