Upgrading from FTD/FMC 6.3.0.2 to 6.4.0.7

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade 2 x FTD 2130 and vFMC to 6.4.0.7 from 6.3.0.2 this week.

Am I ok just going straight to 6.4.0.7 or should I go to 6.4 first? Anyone had any issues with .7? It was advised at Cisco Live this week that we get all of our Firepowers onto 6.4.0.7.

Thanks,

DK

You need to go to 6.4.0 base first - and the apply the 6.4.0.7 patch

We have been running 6.4.0.7 for a few weeks on a physical FMC and on a number of older sensors - not the 2100.

6.4.0.7 is now the starred/recommended code - so obviously it's good!  ;-)

I have not seen any issues other than some wonkyness when viewing tasks in the FMC.

Sometimes it doesn't update the task status - so I have to go to a different screen and then view the task screen again and the correct status is reflected

It's been like this since we went to 6.4
