User Agent 2.3 "Not Running"

Hi !!

 

I installed the User Agent as per the procedure given in the official cisco documents, I created a separate domain user with specific privileges as required. This setup is on Windows Server 2016. 

When I try to click on Service Control "Start/Play" button then I keep on getting "Not Running" message. I am able to add the AD Server but its in "pending" state.

Kindly suggest troubleshooting steps or any inputs that you have if you faced similar issue.

Hi Nandan,

 

Check if you have installed theSQL Server Compact (SQL CE v3.5 SPQ, as well as Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.0 Client Profile.

When installing did you receive a warning about .net or sql not installed?

You can try to uninstall and reinstall the agent and if that does not help, check the event logs to find out the error application is having when trying to start the service.
