Is it me or do vlans not work on the 4ge-ssm card. I can make vlans on the builtin interfaces and they work great.
I can create VLANs on the 4ge-ssm interfaces but I can net get them to talk to anything.
Anyone else see this happening?

Hello,
The 4GE SSM interfaces don't support etherchannels, but a regular 802.1q sub-interface should work fine.
What exactly is the behavior you are seeing? Does the link not come up? Does the switch not learn the ASA's MAC address? Does ARP not resolve or ping not work?
Can you post sanitized copies of your ASA interface and switch port configurations?

My mistake, I did not enable the main g/1/0 interface I have the vlans off.
