Hello

I have a CS Manager 3.2, i have configured a site-to-site vpn in ASA, but there is sometime problem of connecting and disconnecting very rare case it happens,When such happens i want to know what exactly happened and what events are generated.

Can i configure any task  in CS Manager so that i can see only VPN related Events.

Thanks

I dont think that you can do this explicitly via CSM 3.2. I know that CSM 4.0 has logging capabilities. Better would be to intall a syslog server and use "logging class" on the ASA to raise the level of the relevant messages. At the doc link below you can see how to use.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa84/command/reference/l2.html#wp1793205

For example,

logging class trap vpn 4

Would enable you to specify logging level 4 to the syslog server generally, but have all vpn related messages only elevated to that level. It would help to get debug level messages for vpn only without overwhelming your syslog server.
