Dears,
I am planning to upgrade to 9.2 from a way 8.2.4>8.4.6>9.2, I have seen the memory requirements for the legacy ASA 5520 is 2 GB and rest all will be fine there is no need to upgrade the flash as it works with 512MB please correct if i m wrong, i have a doubt with VPN connection we have a site-to-site vpn and plenty of Windows remote access vpn, what precaution i have to take care for the vpn users in perspective of windows vpn client and from their configuration end.
thanks

Hi,
Recommendation is to have or to use more amount of memory on the ASA 5520 for these Software codes as they have higher memory requirement.
Now , in your environment , ASA with 512MB can still work but that depends on specific environments.

Hi,
It is not recommended to have the ASA 5520 running 2GB RAM
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/asa-5500-series-next-generation-firewalls/product_bulletin_c25-586414.html
It might work but you might see the memory issues.
Also , you can only upgrade the ASA 5520 to Maximum of ASA 9.1.6 Latest Interim C0de.
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/compatibility/asamatrx.html#81169
There should not be much changes for the VPN part:-
Still would suggest checking the release notes for the ASA code:-
