What exactly are the firepower services

I would like to know what exactly are these firepower services that come with ASA5508-K9

None by default.

Only the software module will be pre-installed if you order the SKU with "FPWR" in the product number. It will then include the CTRL license (no cost) that enables AVC.

You need to add licenses for one or more of the following: IPS, URL Filtering and Malware (AMP).

Same thing when ordering the new FTD image - you need to add licenses.
