Hi All .

What is the alarm clear after Smart License out-of-compliance  or authorization expire or other error message from smart licensing ?

%ASA-3-444303: %SMART_LIC-3-OUT_OF_COMPLIANCE
%ASA-5-444305: %SMART_LIC-5-AUTHORIZATION_EXPIRED: Authorization expired.

Can I use  syslog message below for clear alarm above ?

%ASA-5-444305: %SMART_LIC-5-IN_COMPLIANCE: All entitlements are authorized.
or
%ASA-6-444306: %SMART_LIC-6-AGENT_REG_SUCCESS: Smart Agent for Licensing Registration with Cisco licensing cloud successful.

Incase the customer has monitoring tool and the first time device send  alarm message following below.
example "%ASA-5-444305: %SMART_LIC-5-AUTHORIZATION_EXPIRED: Authorization expired."

after that if devices send  %ASA-5-444305: %SMART_LIC-5-AUTHORIZATION_EXPIRED: Authorization expired.
can i use this pattern for clear alarm above or not ?

The feature use license will continue working but you will get log about

SMART_LIC-3-OUT_OF_COMPLIANCE

And as workaround

Sure you can use message id (no need ot pattern) for filtering and not send to log server.

Hello @jewfcb001

%SMART_LIC-3-OUT_OF_COMPLIANCE, is triggered due to a licensing status issue that doesn't impact the actual functionality of the licensed features, you might choose to filter or suppress these specific messages from being forwarded to your log server.

Using the message ID for filtering is a good practice. Cisco devices typically allow for syslog message filtering based on criteria such as message IDs, severity levels, or specific patterns...
