A good number of customers use the 5505 at SOHO or very small branch office as firewall + switch + ISP circuit termination. If there are only a handful of user devices, it makes good sense for them.
Many engineers also use it in their alb setups as it is pretty expensive and allows you to get a fair amount of hands on practice if you don't get that during your normal "day job".
