Hi to all,

I was trying to download from the cisco site the newest version of Pix software Revision:  Version 8.0.4(32) – 05/07/2009 File:  pix804-32.bin but I'm not able to find where to find it, if i use the software tree when i go to the Cisco PIX 535 Security Appliance i reach the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Firewall Services Module software.

Actually, if you try to find software for any pix module you can't, here i attach you a picture of that.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You can download them here: http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/pix

click on PIX  Interim Releases in the above link. 8.0.4(32) is there.

You would need to open a cisco TAC case so they can publish you the interim release.

Hi,

Is this the only way?...I mean i find it a little rush, is it an error that the cisco web site engineers have not seen yet?...

Regards,

Thanks alot, I wasn´t able to find it.

Thanks alot!

Can I still download this for my PIX515e though it's long reached EOL? I have no support contract on it. Can I purchase support for this and get access to the download? I need to upgrade to 8.0.4 so that I have the "shaping" (traffic) command set.

Unfortunately not, as the last day to purchase service for PIX version 8.0 was October 23, 2012:
