Resolution
If a getdevnum warning message appears when trying to access bootflash on a Cisco 7200 series router, check to see if the hardware issue is related to one of the Field Notices below.
In most cases, either the Network Processing Engine (NPE), or the I/O controller must be replaced to resolve this issue.
