Core issue
An Access Point (AP) is discovered only if these options are met:
- AP is entered as a seed device.
- AP is directly connected to a seed switch.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, perform one of these options:
- Enter the AP as a seed device in the Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE).
- Enter the switch where AP is connected as a seed device.
At the same time, make sure that both devices can see each other as Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) neighbors.
