Overheating problem with Cisco 7201

Hi,

we have problem with new cisco 7201

Cisco 7201 (c7201) processor (revision B) with 917504K/65536K bytes of memory.

Processor board ID 78012534

MPC7448 CPU at 1666Mhz, Implementation 0, Rev 2.2

1 slot midplane, Version 2.1

Router(boot)#sh environment all

Power Supplies:

        Power Supply 1 is C7201 AC Power Supply. Unit is on.

        Power Supply 2 is C7201 AC Power Supply. Unit is on.

Temperature readings:

        NPE Inlet        measured at 27C/80F

        NPE Outlet       measured at 33C/91F

        CPU Die          measured at 88C/190F

Voltage readings:

        +3.30 V       measured at +3.28 V

        +1.50 V       measured at +1.49 V

        +2.50 V       measured at +2.48 V

        +5.15 V       measured at +5.07 V

        +1.20 V       measured at +1.20 V

        VDD_CPU       measured at +1.28 V

        -11.95        measured at -12.23 V

        VTT           measured at +1.24 V

Fans:


        Fan 1 is believed to be working

        Fan 1 RPM is 11130

        Fan 2 is believed to be working

        Fan 2 RPM is 12190

        Fan 3 is believed to be working

        Fan 3 RPM is 11660

        Fan 4 is believed to be working

        Fan 4 RPM is 11660

cpu is idle, no traffic at all.

same model old one, same rack, same room temperature

something is wrong?:

old cisco 7201, CPU at 30%:

     CPU Die          measured at 43C/109F

new cisco 7201 ,  CPU at 0%

    CPU Die          measured at 88C/190F

should we arrange return of new product?

Addendum:

we have moved router in 22-24C environment

CPU Die is now stable at ~ 60C,

still ~15C upper comparing to "old" router.

show tech-supprot.txt is now attached in main document.
