Hello, NSO gurus, I see a amazon-aws NED. Does anyone know what it was built for? Is there any project it was deployed onto?
thank you in advance!

Hi Yang
NED was built by Stockholm (BU)...
perhaps unfortunately it was a "small" subset of AWS capabilities... simple FW rules, NAT rules, etc.
if you look in the NED you'll see what its capable of.
(** also, it never went into production for them -- nothing to do w. NSO or automation - they scrapped the project)

yes - it was built as a "poc" NED... (one of my customers...)
it's a :generic" NED (type) and uses REST to communicate w/ a few (small set of) AWS services.
hope that helps

Thanks for the reply, Gregg!
Just curious, what was your customer looking for from NSO in regard to AWS?
Did BU build the NED or your team built it?
Thank you!
