I'm looking for the latest NED for alu-sr and huawei-vrp in NSO 4.7.

First, the device is Nokia-7750SR-7s (alu), and I checked it with ncs-4.7-alu-sr-7.10.1.signed.bin.

I have compared the differences the device config and sync-from config, and there are a lot missing part.. (please find the attached file which is configuration from from the device)

The most important missing CLI is ‘connector’ under ‘port’ as below;

The port 1/1/c1 is 100G interface and they can configure it as logically segregated interfaces.

Would you please if this CLI (connector – breakout) are not supported currently?

If so, is there any work around until this feature will be supported?

configure

    port 1/1/c1

        shutdown

        connector   <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

            breakout c4-10g  <<<<<<<<<

        exit

    exit

It is normal for a NED to be incomplete. We only develop as much as is required for its current usage. Hence you are likely to have a use case that requires configuration that has not yet been required by anybody else. If your customer requires additional configuration support in a NED then please raise a request as per the standard process.

Hi,

That is expected of the NED. You'll have to raise a TAC case to have the NED enhanced.

To properly raise a case with TAC and for expedited support, you should prepare the following for your SR:

-device trace in raw format, disconnect/connect to the device, do 'devices clear-trace', sync-from to the device that has the desired configurations

-Show on the real device CLI how to configure the desired command/s and provide the interface config output (or any config output relating to what commands you want added)

-and if you want, further verifications would be to simply show that the commands are missing in NSO cdb via show running/full.

Thank you.
