Re: change SSH port Number

Hi, if you are trying to change the SSH port to connect to a device, you must configure a rotary group:

ip ssh port 1000 rotary 1
!
line vty 0 15
 rotary 1

This will make the device to open a SSH connection on the port "1000", but this will not prevent to connect to it in the port 22, you need to make an ACL to acomplish this too.

Re: change SSH port Number

If you want to change the ssh default port number to 1096 then find the configuration as follow:

ip ssh port 1096 rotary 1
!
line vty 0 15
rotary 1

ip access-list extended Deny SSH
deny tcp any any eq 22
permit ip any any
