Can I combine a Cisco switch with a Network Advantage license and a DNA Essentials license? Specifically, can a Cisco C9500-48Y4C-A switch be used with a CISCO C9500-DNA-E-3Y license?

9500 can be used with C9500-DNA-E-3Y, reason being this partnumber is actually for 9500. However, you need to be ware of the implication that Essential means.
9500 is usually added to the network as Core switch and Essential does not supporte all the feature a Core may need.
Check the Datasheet, specifically for "Network Essentials and Advantage package features"
If you believe what Essential offers is enough for your network, you can go ahead and take only Essential.
