Hi

How can a Standard CCIE Emeritus (not CCIE Lifetime Emeritus) re-enter to an Active CCIE Status?

In this link Cisco mention "Opportunity to re-enter active CCIE/CCDE status by taking any current written CCIE/CCDE exam", but with the changes in 2020 only there is Written Exam for CCDE, for the others CCIEs technology CORE exam apply??

The answer was:

Any method below:

a.) Take the CCDE Written Exam: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/exams/current-list/ccde.html

b.)Pass any one CCIE lab exam

c.)Pass any three professional concentration exams

d.)Pass one technology core exam and pass any one professional concentration exam. (This is also a CCNP certification if done in the same track.)

Also: "Please be advised that there is no difference between Lifetime and emeritus in terms of recertification purposes."

I think so,pass CCDE Written or any 1 CCIE lab, or pass 1 professional concentration exams or 1 technology core exam and pass any one professional concentration exam.

But I would go to CLN and post new topic over there or contact cisco cert support , aka open a case

open a case online with the Learning@Cisco Centralized Support team

let us know the answer you get.
