Marketing PIDs and some Service PIDs that are approaching End of Life are not supported via RMAs. When this happens, Part Supersession occurs. This means that the part shipped out by Cisco will be similar but different PID that the PID that the customer is expected to return.
Supersession only applies to shipment lines. Return lines should always display the information that the user has entered into the RMA.
I have attached a Show Tech on a Cisco 4331 Router which we are trying to add to our Cisco Smartnet contract. There is a compliance hold on the router and I have attached the requested Show Tech to release the Hold.
Hi, is this bug also fixed in x12.7.1? It's not mentioned in the bug description. Neither as affected nor as fixed release. Additionally I cannot find any information about it in the release notes from 12.7.1 to 14.0.3. regardsStefan
