I notice that with our customers with multiple sites I name the customer like this:
Customer Business Name - Location Name
When I log in to the portal though, the name is truncated despite there being plenty of room for it to be displayed.
Is this by design? It can make it hard to ascertain which site is which.
This is by design. It is truncated to support the other functionalities on that upper bar. I'll mark this down as a feature enhancement, as potential update in a future release.

We name our multiple site customers using the same methodology: Customer Name - Site Name. We would also find non-truncated names on the dahsboard screen helpful.
My suggestion is a multiple line display option. It would also be helpful to have a filter by name box or search box on the Overview screen to enable faster searching for a specific customer.
