OnPlus Notification Issues for European Theater – Service Restored

OnPlus Service experienced an issue with sending notifications for users that store data in the European theater. Users may not have received notifications during the timeframe of October 17th, 4:00 GMT through Oct 26th 14:13 GMT. Users should check event logs to determine if any critical event notifications were missed during this time period. The notification service is restored for these users, users in the North American theater were not impacted.

Further, we found the root cause of this issue and corrected it (for all theaters), and we've added instrumentation to detect and report similar issues of our delivery system in the future. We discovered that the automatic end-to-end testing of notification delivery that was in place prior to this issue was not being performed for all theaters, so we will work to expand that testing as well.
